Tex Yorker

Texan meets New Yorker.

I recently moved to New York City from Texas and have been in a state of observance. I've always been fascinated by the sheer diversity of this place—a city where so many come to chase their dreams, including me. This concept is a visual fusion of the two places I now call home. I feel at home when I'm in either place, yet feel homesick for both.

A visual exploration of dual identity and homesickness, mapping the cultural and aesthetic collision of Texas vastness and New York compression. The work observes the shared ambition—the chase for the dream—that binds both the open range and the concrete jungle.

This is a work in progress and not a complete showcase of the designs to come.
